It's the 3rd of April and thus just over a month since I wrote.
Now I'm not saying that my life has been incredibly boring since then...because that would be an utter lie!!!No in fact it;s vbeen so busy and exciting and amazing that I simply haven't had time to write....and that;s the story I'm sticking to.
Since I wrote I have been involved in the great sink robbery of 2004, a slightly mad maneouvre which involved birthday clubbing(not mine quite obviously...I'm still young, I swear...!) house renovations and side of road pilfering...
OK it was nothing to do with me really...I'm too old and uncool...but I was there and helped hide it from the taxi drivers who, it was maintained, would want to take it from us....
Now I'm NOT saying that some people may have been being overdramatic....but if I did, I might be right!
And other than that there's mostly been a lot of work...contract translation work and college project work and an essay which is now 6 weeks overdue and which I should be editing but I hate so I'm typing this instead....(it's okkkkk tha nice lecturer let us have an extra 6 weeks...the love I have for that man..!!)
Erm the only real news is that as of yesterday, I have no more uni classes ever...like...EVER...which is kinda weird if only ecause it doesn't feel as weird as you'd think that it should...but then theres another 3 weekd befroe exams and another 2 weeks of them and then 6 weeks of work exp stuff so I suppose it ain;t quite over yet!
and for my 6 weeks I get to be a subtitling maniac....maniac as in trapped in Spiddal and not getting paid....
But then the job that I DID FINALLY manage to resign from just gave me holiday pay so I'm thinking of heading off to the Bahamas for a while with my new found wealth....
(for that read Cuba* nightclub........SLIGHTLY more within my price range, specially since we get free in there every sunday due to judicious pub choosing...!!)
Oh and I'm thinking of starting a translation business....
(I am getting old...)
Thats about it...gonna actually go and do some work now and see where it gets me...back to Limerick on Tuesday I'm hoping...though thousands wouldn't (...hope to go to Limerick that is...it apparently has some kind of bad reputation!)
